Q:  What is Collagen?
A: Collagen is the bodies most abundant protein. It's the main structural protein found in  connective tissues. Collagen consists of vital amino acids bound together to form the building blocks known as a collagen helix.  It is mostly found in connective tissues such as cartilage, bones, tendons, ligaments, and skin.

Q: What is Collagen Hydrolysate?
A: Collagen is found predominantly in bone, cartilage, muscle and other connective tissues. Collagen Hydrolysate is Collagen broken down by natural processes to allow easy absorption into the blood stream.

Q: How can I take Collagen?
A:  You can enjoy taking our Collagen supplements simply by adding it to your favourite drink as it's unflavoured, making it easy and versitile to take it however you choose.  Many take it with water or with cordial or fruit juice, Shakes or smoothies, others like to add it to their coffee or tea.  It can even be taken with food by easily mixing into yoghurts or soups.   Our TIP is to take daily and leave in a prominent place as a reminder like next to the kettle!

Q: Why is the TLC Collagen range only available in powder form?
A: Research has shown that powdered Collagen taken as a drink is easier to digest and more readily absorbed. Also to consume the same level of collagen hydrolysate provided in TLC Collagen Peptides( 7000mg) would require approximately 17 tablets per day containing approx.(400mg).

Q: What is the source of Collagen used?
A: Our Collagen Hydrolysate is from bovine source, We use this source due to the extensive years of research from this source, the results produce the best benefits for skin, hair, nails in addition to improving joint and bone health.  Our Collagen is odourless and unflavoured unlike many marine sources which tend to leave a fishy aftertaste. It has excellent solubility, therefore it mixes with ease into your favourite cold or hot drink.

Q: Why do I need a Collagen Supplement?
A: As we get older the  our collagen levels diminish from our skin resulting in wrinkles, brittle Nails and hair is another common sin with age. The stress we put on our joints leads to age related wear-and-tear of cartilage which when lost cannot be replaced due to the absence of various essential nutrients. Q: Can I take Collagen Hydrolysate with my regular medication?
A: Yes, Collagen is natural, there should be no contra-indications with existing medication.  America uses a status for use of safe foods called G.R.A.S which stands for Generaly Recognised As Safe.  If you are at all then simply ask your GP before adding any new supplement to your diet.

Q: Do you charge postage?
A: No, all our prices include free postage & packing within the UK with no hidden extras. We use Royal Mail and sometimes UPS for larger bulk orders. Due to unreliabilty issues we are not currently shipping to countries outside the UK. 

Q: How quickly will I receive my order?
A: All orders placed before 3pm are usually dispatched the very same day and we would expect Royal Mail to make delivery within 2-3 days. If you have any special needs we will do our best to deliver to you sooner if possible.
